5 NOV 00: Here we are again. I just can't help myself. Maybe if you people would stop being so dim whited I could stop insulting you. Not a chance right? That's what I figured. Anyhowz, on the subject of dim whits, when I left Greeley I was worried that I would miss The Mirror (the UNC student rag). Well, seems CSU has a rag, The Rocky Mountain Collegian, which is just as entertaining. Tho I must say, the CSU rag is not quite as biased the UNC rag. The Collegian actually prints the opinions & letters of people who don't vote Democrat and hug trees. So give them credit for some intelligent stuff. I have noticed also that most of the time I can tell where someone is going to be coming from by reading the bio data about them at the end of the oped piece. If they are psychology or journalism majors, then it's pink-o time. If they are engineering students they seem to make some sense. English students kinda swing both ways (which is cool if she is a hot babe). Once in a while there is an exception to this. I got one of those for ya later in this rant.
But don't get me wrong.... They still waste paper on lots of silliness. So, without further hesitation (and as usual, in no particular order thanks to my filing system of throwing things on the desk in a giant pile) let the beatings begin:
As I reach into the stack.... The first one is a good one. Some fat chyck (I know this 'cause they have pictures with their oped pieces) is going off on the usual line, "``White men don't know discrimination''. It's true, we don't. We also don't know how to whimper thru life blaming everything that happens to us on our gender or skin colour or both. You see, we have balls. Literally & metaphorically.
According to Anne Welch (whom I assume typed with one hand as the other had a Hostess Twinkie in it) the "``White Male Syndrome"'' is ``the state of never truly being told no'', and the thing which frustrates her the most is "these men can't see they have a problem". I would first suggest that instead of worrying about my problem, she take a look at her problems and fix those first. If she lost some weight & got a life maybe a white man would actually talk to her. One day, she might even discover happiness.....
Ya know (this has nothing to do with the subject) but you dumb shits out there probably think -- from reading my political pieces -- that my life is just miserable and that I spend all my time looking for things to get upset about. I don't. I'm a really happy person, except that I am surrounded by idiots like you. The point is.... As much as I can find fucked up with this world, there is much more that is wonderful about it. If you dumb whores (that includes men) would just lighten up maybe you could enjoy life.
But back to Anne's whimpering. Anne has of course assembled some telling evidence of this "White Male Syndrome". Here are the facts which lead her to this stunning conclusion.
1. Some whore wanted to joining the Air Force and fly jets, but her parents "scrunch their eyebrows and say 'but honey.... girls can't fly planes'." Oh.... This is so deep. Do I really need, once again, to explain why women don't belong in the military. Besides, have you ever seen a woman drive? Yea, I want to give a woman a multi-billion dollar military jet.
2. This one, I can only laugh at. Some chyck with a last name which "reflects her Mexican heritage" is trying to get a job and tho she is a "talented word processor [yea, using a word processor is hard] and graphic artist" her resumes are ignored, and in fact, the positions she applies for are "quickly filled" as she finds out when she calls to whimper & whine about the fact that someone didn't hire her.
Ok, the positions were filled because they need someone to do the job. That is why you advertise a position. They usually are filled. Further more, calling to check what is happening after you sent in your resume is futile, and possible fatal, regardless of what your "career coach" told you. I have been in a position to hire people and I can tell you that if I see your resume and don't call you, then you don't have a chance in hell. No matter what. So move on. As hard as it may be for you to believe, even I have sent off resumes and gotten no response. Not only am I a while male, but I am smarter than every other person on the planet. It happens to everyone.
Life. Get one.
3. This is great. In summary, a boy committed suicide because his parents were of mixed race and upon coming to the United States "he is greeted by the same coolness" as he received in his country of birth. I can hardly keep my food down as I read this. First off, stay the fuck home. I was born in the US, and I'm staying here. Second, very few people give a shit about children of mixed heritage. I know that's hard for Anne to believe, but true none the less. He killed himself because he is a dip shit (much like Anne) and because he could not take responsibility for his own life and happiness (much like Anne). I'm pretty sure it wasn't the white mans fault.
4. A homosexual got a "harsh" grade on a test. The teacher tells him to "study harder". Yes, this is all the fault of the white man. I confess. It was I that made it impossible for him to study for his test and make a good grade. Besides that, how dare a teacher tell an "openly homosexual" person to study? Evil!!!! Homosexuals should be handed good grades without question.
5. A girl is "unmistakably sexually assaulted". Unmistakable is a might big word. Of course Anne is a mighty big girl. No evidence of this "unmistakeableness" is presented. We just have to takes Anne's word for it. Anyhowz, her friends allegedly ask the questions "Are you sure you weren't sending mixed signals?" (of course not -- just because a woman dresses & acts like a whore doesn't mean she is a whore) and "Did you really say no?" (Of course she did, because she really didn't want to fuck and so she got up and left, that's why she got fucked.... Wait.... That doesn't compute....).
The idiocy continues, and gets better. You see, when Anne hears stories from white men about discrimination or failures in life "these are bad luck stories". Oh, but when it happens to anyone else it is the fault of "White Male Syndrome". It's pretty convenient isn't it Anne, not to have to be responsible for anything that happens to you. It is isn't my fault that I didn't get the job. It isn't my fault I killed myself. It isn't my fault I flunked the test. It isn't my fault I had sex. It isn't my fault I'm a fat, dumb whore. No Anne. It's never your fault. You're right. All the white men in the world are involved in a "vast right wing conspiracy" to keep you down. We have meetings every third Tuesday of the month. I can't tell you where. It's a secret.
"But, what is wrong is their [white men] denial that other have suffered, and continue to suffer, on a daily basis." Emphasis in the original.
"But [notice how asses use the word 'but' often] don't disrespect the rest of us by denying the trials of our lives that have made us strong." Again, emphasis in the original.
Ok whore, first off, we don't have to acknowledge your suffering or anything else. If I don't acknowledge the blueness of the sky will it change colour? No, I think not. Acknowledgment does not change reality. If, and I say if, you are really suffering you don't need me to acknowledge it. It either is or it isn't (and we both know it mostly isn't). If you were really suffering it would show. You don't need me to confirm it for you. Did the Jews in concentration camps need someone to come around and tell them they were going to die? I think not. Shut the fuck up whore.
Regarding the second quote, if you had been made strong you wouldn't be whining. The existence of this column illustrates that you are not strong. You are in fact a stupid weak, fat, twinkie-in your-face-stuffing bitch. Strong people do not snivel thru life. You never saw Martin Luther King whining and crying.
To the credit of the Collegian (unlike many college publications) they do run opposing view columns. Shortly after this there was a response from Jon Watkins which pretty much put Anne ``I'm Eating And I Can't Stop'' Welch in her place. Jon hit it right on the head when he writes:
"The amusing irony is that institutionalized racism is clearly visible in some of the last places these race hustlers would think to look: in their own hearts and on their own lips. Thursday's opinion column by Anne Welch is a prime example of yet another ridiculous attempt to shove people into two groups -- victims and victimizers -- based solely upon today's preferred method of human classification -- skin colour -- in an effort to expose institutionalized racism."
So give 'em points for giving more than lip service to equal time.
Still on the subject of dumb whores, Noel Dolan submits her bizarre ramblings to the world now & then. She also makes amazing discoveries that the rest of us have missed out on. Among those discoveries (get ready to be amazed) is this: TV commercials are made to target either men or women. Yes, you read this right. Maybe you should sit down in case you faint from this dose of reality.
Dolan goes off the deep end however, because you see what is really happening is this. Advertising dictates gender behaviour. Yes, it's true, it's true. All this time you thought you wanted to fuck the shit out of that cute babe in chemistry class because of testosterone. Nope, it's because of TV commercials.
See, during Monday Night Football, they advertise "beer, razors and car accessories". The commercials aimed towards women "belong in the 1950's" and *gasp* promote "family responsibility and the woman's place is in the home".
Here is another case where I could go on & on about this subject, but due to my superiority to the rest of you I can sum it up in one sentence. Brace yourself for a massive truth injection. If you have time to figure all this shit out (and yes, advertising is targeted) you are watching too much fucking TV! Dolan, take your ugly, paper white, 4-eyes ass outside and get some sunlight. If you had a fucking life & a few friends you wouldn't be watching ``Friends'' on TV and you wouldn't notice this shit.
Gotta mention some positive things here.
Adam Sivits, a journalism major of all things, writes: "Do you know where your criminals are? Yeah, they're stuck in overcrowded prison wasting taxpayers' money." After this he proceeds to make a damn intelligent evaluation of our fucked up 'criminal-justice' system (AKA The Big Joke). On top of all this, he has the balls to recommend something I also favour. Cruel and unusual punishment for real criminals. Cutting off hands, cutting out tongues and public torture. Right on brother.
Same issue, Scott Wilkinson (civil engineering major) writes a wonderful column about how you dumb fuckers can't drive. Gee, I wonder who regularly bitches about that..... Anyhowz, he kicks major ass & hits it right on the spot. His three important points about driving in ice & snow:
"1. Four-wheel-drive, not four-wheel-stop."
"2. More gas does not equal better traction." Regarding those idiots you see doing the "sit and spin" on the ice who stomp the gas peddle. Spinning the tires faster will not make you move.
"3. A spot smaller than Kate Moss' waist cleared off on your windshield does not constitute good vision."
Of course, gotta have an idiot everyday to balance all this out. Julia Thornton (journalism / poli-sci) is one more dummy urging people to go out and vote. Look idiot, anyone who needs to be told there is an election, and who needs to be urged to vote, does not need to be voting. In fact, as I have pointed out, only people who receive no tax money in any way should be allowed to vote. But that story is not for this time.
Anyhowz. There is a chick named Devon Hoover who kinda walks the line. On one hand she had the spine to write a column about how abortion is not a good thing. Twice as amazing considering she is a journalism major. However she is also one of those moral majority freaks who thinks sex is dirty and nasty (mostly as she has never had any sex, and a good orgasm would kill her). According to Hoover (not related to my friend ``Big Daddy'' Lorren Hoover) sexual purity is to be a rose amongst the thorns. Having sex leads one to become wilted and thorny. Kinda sad. Reminds me of an interview I read with some bimbo in FHM magazine this month.
This chyck says that she is going to remain a virgin until she gets married because everyone has something to offer, and what she has to offer is her purity and virginity. Now, we need to look at this idea in some detail.
When a woman says this, what she really means is: I have nothing to offer any man except for a vagina that has never had a penis in it. I have no brains, no conversation ability, no dreams, no goals, no personality. I have nothing to reward a man except my virginity.
What she fails to realize is that once his penis has been in her vagina she doesn't even have that virginity any more. Now she has nothing to offer a man. What a sad state of existence. Let's be honest, if a virgin vagina is all you have of offer the world maybe you should just kill yourself and stop wasting resources that could go to supporting a real person. I know women who could have sex with 200 men on the street corner and they would still be wonderful people to be with.
The Collegian editorial board came up with a stunning concept. "Students, community need to unite to stop racial profiling." Yes they do. And the main source of racial profiling is the War On Drugs. And that is why you are urging people to go out and vote for politicians who are vowing to intensify the War On Drugs. If you want to stop the government from hunting down people based on skin colour I suppose you will need a different government wont you.
Corbu Stathes does a political cartoon in each issue. They are usually pretty great. One deserves mention. One student says to another "Dude, I just saw something in the bathroom that CSU might wanna buy and call art." How true it is.
Time to bounce back to racism. Athens, GA. My birth state. Seems that some black woman (we shall call her ``dumb whore'' for the purpose of this column) was participating in the rush process. I quote the article; ``The woman eventually dropped out of the process after two or three days because she didn't feel comfortable, school officials said.'' So now the girls of Alpha Gamma Delta are in deep shit. You see, they are racist whores. You see, one of their members ratted out on them (didn't choose your members too wisely did ya girls) and told the school that the dumb whore was ``denied admission because of her race''. Of course, the article presents no evidence of this, other than the word of someone who obviously can not be trusted. Also interesting about this situation:
1. None of the other sororities seem to be in trouble, yet none of them accepted the dumb whore as a member.
2. The dumb whore dropped out of the process after ``two or three days'' (she can't be sure, after all, it's hard to remember how many days you were doing something). Now, I have never 'rushed' (tho I have tripped) but I'm pretty sure it takes more than two or three days. So maybe she just had to wait for it to happen. Oh, but she is black. Black people don't have to wait. They should be handed things upon arriving.
It gets better. Elizabeth Breiner, a senior and member of Gamma Phi Beta said it was ``shocking and horrible'' for a sorority to reject someone because of race. She then commented that there are no black women in her sorority. Shocking and horrible, isn't it? She also said ``I personally think it would be great if sororities are more diverse.'' Just not her sorority, but it's ok for others.
Of course, at the University of Georgia there are four sororities and three frats which are black only. I don't see any white folks crying about that.
Now, for those of you who are stupid or in marketing, let me make my self very clear. I do not have any problem with people organizing into groups based on skin colour or anything else for that matter. Nor do I have a problem with people organizing in groups and disregarding skin colour. As a libertarian, I think people should be free to do either of these things. Since these students are involved in frats & sororities of their own free will, and on their own time, they can organize how ever they like. Of course there is the argument some will make -- they are using government money, so they should be regulated. Yes they are using government money, and the solution to that aspect of the problem is to remove the government money.
Follow up article: The punishment is handed down upon the evil sorority sisters. The chapter must educate its members in racial sensitivity, ensure that its members feel comfortable in confronting and reporting any inappropriate comments they might hear within the chapter, and take a campus leadership role to increase awareness and appreciation for the value of racial diversity in social organizations.
Once again the thought police launch an attack. They was no actual evidence presented in either of these articles of true racism, but the perception is enuf so it seems. Not only can you be punished for what you think, but you can be punished for what someone else thinks you think.
While we are being racist, here is some stupidity for you. The University of Wisconsin at Madison (a known communist outpost) actually altered a photograph of a group of white cheerleaders to include a black girl. This picture is on the cover of the 2001-02 undergraduate application. The university says (and yes I quote) "It wasn't done to deceive prospective students but rather to more accurately portray the student body."
Now lets look at this. We didn't alter the photo to deceive. Really.... Why else would one alter a photograph? They wanted to more accurately portray the student body. Yes, seems there were trying to portray the cheerleading bodies. Not that I find that objectable of course. Cheerleader bodies are some of my favourite bodies, but are you going to try and convince me that they couldn't find a picture that had people of all races in it? So they had to doctor a picture of cute babes in short skirts in order to portray the body? Like I would care, but this smacks of using women for their looks, in addition to plain stupidity.
Remember this mom & dad, these people are educating your children. You are sending this college large amounts of your money each year.
As to the girl they inserted in the photo, she is being a liberal about it. She hopes the incident will open discussions. She should open a discussion with a lawyer. As a photographer I know a bit about this. If you take a photo of a person & use that photo to misrepresent them and do this without their permission -- that's a bad thing. She could probably win a lawsuit. At the very least she could get her education for free. But no, she wants to open a discussion.
Hey, what if a black girl would have been removed from the picture, to leave only white girls? I wonder how much discussion that would open.
On the race subject (still) is a column by L'Shawn Lyle. Now this is an interesting one, as Lyle seems to be engaging in ITP (independent thought process) which is not commonly found on college campuses. I'm still not completely sure how much I agree & disagree with what she is saying, but that is a good thing because it means she is making me have to think also. And I don't have to do that very often when reading anything written by a college student (or anyone else for that matter).
Let me paraphrase what she says here. The point she seeks to make is that, as the headline says, race is cultural, not biological. What exactly does she mean by this? An example she uses is that of an African child raised by Japanese parents. Is that child African or Japanese. Lyle says the child is Japanese, and I find I must agree. Granted, the child still has the genetics of... Or let me restate that.... The child has genetics which are more closely related to the indigenous people of the African continent, but for all practical intents & purposes this child is Japanese.
Lyle seems to have experience something I am familiar with. Other people with similar genetics to her (her genes are similar to those of people indigenous to the African continent) find out that she does not meet their stereotypical requirements for a "real nigger" (my words, not hers) and she is labelled "white-washed" and accuse of "going against my nature". Been there & done that. Well, not personally, but when I was going to tech school a friend of mine, Ken, (who happens to be black) went to school same time & classes as me -- matter of fact, he got me interested in going there. Once Ken started going to school the other black people working with us started up with the insults. "Going to a white man's school", "Uncle Tom", all the things you can imagine on your own. It also included vandalizing his pickup (brand new, which he was very proud of) in the parking lot.
Why would they do this? Well, I figure it's a combination of being pieces of shit coupled with the jealously that comes from knowing they will always be pieces of shit while Ken was trying to improve his life. This is the typical Democrat/liberal way of looking at the world. Instead of trying to elevate yourself -- drag everyone else down to your level.
Another thing the Democrats and liberals are good at is putting people in categories. This is the whole reason we have these problems in this country. People with dark skin can't be Americans, they are African-Americans (which leads to me ask why the hell they don't go back to Africa) and people with brown skin have be Chicanos. And by the way, what the hell is a Chicano? An Asian is someone from Asia, an African is from Africa, is a Chicano from Chican? And where the hell is Chican?
I've never been to England, but I hear that "race relations" (I don't really like that phrase, but you know what I mean) are much better over there. And further it is my understanding the people in England consider themselves British. Not African-British, or Mexican-British. Just British. As Lyle says, race is culture, not biology. We have race problems in American because there are always some dipshits running around trying to classify people by skin colour so they may be divided up into special interest groups and manipulated for political purposes.
We will continue to have these same problems until people stop seeing themselves as hyphenated beings, and start to see themselves as a common culture.
Lyle is much smarter than she realizes. In closing her column she says "As for me, I am just as lost as everybody else." Just prior to this, she actually stumbled on the secret to it all. "We are too busy playing the racial blame game to work on real problems like tyrannical corporation and our right being voted away every day." Yes, exactly, and that is how the corporations and politicians like us. So long as we are at each others throats we can not fight the real enemy.
To take a quote from The Red Star: ``The best slave is one who thinks he is free.'' That would be you dear reader.

I'm attempting to overcome laziness and start linking to all the Collegian articles I mention. Since they are on-line, and I would hope they will not be screwing up the URLs, I should be able to do that.
Here are three editorials, all of which appeared the same day, which I mostly agree with. Good God, imagine that happening. I am not going to review them, go read 'em yourself, except to say this. Mr. Watkins came up with the best evaluation of the presidential debates I have read yet.
"I forced myself to watch all three presidential debates. That's right. For a grand total of approximately four hours and 30 minutes spread out over a span of three weeks, I invited a couple of dimwitted morons to talk down to me, recite their rehearsed pathetic quips and butcher or completely fabricate statistics in an effort to gain a few measly percentage points in our nation's wildly swinging presidential polls.
And what did I learn? Al Gore and George W. Bush are two people willing to say, do or be anything it takes to get elected.”
Truer words have I heard not. Dimwitted morons. Rehearsed pathetic quips. Fabricate statistics. Sometimes I think there may be hope for some of these kids.

The whole debate here is that a member of the student government has a Bush/Cheney sign in his office. This is of course a major disaster to liberals (AKA Defenders of the First Amendment). This whole line of whining is easy to reveal as the hypocrisy it is. Observe. If it were a Bore/Diddleman sign, would they complain? No. Would this be an issue? No. It's really that simple. They will say it isn't, but it is.
Let me now turn my attention to something that actually requires some intelligence to deal with. Go and read “Bush is the best pick for president" at http://www.collegian.com/story.cfm?ID=5846 and then get your ass back here. Now, first I'm impressed that a college rag would allow anyone to write a column supporting the evil Bush. Second I think Bush is an idiot. Third, is he the best pick? Well, between Dush (as in bag) and Bore (as in boring), if I have to take one piece of shit over another I guess I'll take the Bush shit. But that is not what I want to call your attention to.
The part of this article that is interesting is the part about abortion. I am going to have to do an entire column on abortion soon. I think it's time someone injected some common sense into that debate. The point Wilkinson makes which is important here is that a whole lot of you are going out and voting for Bore because he currently supports allowing women to murder babies. Voting for a person because of something like this is sad, sick and exactly why you shouldn't be allowed to vote. Wilkinson's advice to "vote based on issues the president could realistically affect" is pretty darn good. I'm sure that he and I have different opinions on what those issues would be and if you actually read the Constitution you will find that the president isn't suppose to be doing just a whole heck of a lot. The president was not intended to be the tin pot dictator we have created.
