Flowers on the CSU campus (except for the first two -- that flower is in my back yard). I used the 'Colour Enhance' function of GIMP to pump up the saturation in these photos. Otherwise these transparencies are not digitally altered. I'm going to take a moment to make an editorial comment here. I have talked to some photographers in the past to "brag" about how many rolls of film they have to shoot in order to get good photographs. One in-duh-vidual told me that he has to blow off 2 rolls of 36 just to get 3 good images. Now, I know what these people are trying to say. They are trying to say that their standards are just so high that no average photo is good enough for them. The 25 images below are all from one roll of 36, and most of them are pretty flawless. If you have to shoot 72 frames to get 3 photos that is not "high standards". You simply suck. |
