Cat Daddy & I blowing off steam down by the lake. That is my 84 Isuzu I-Mark. That car kicked ass.

10 MTN LT INF

Rappeling from birds. Fun as hell, and I hate heights.

10 MTN LT INF

Riding in a bird. One of my fav parts of the military.

10 MTN LT INF

right - SGT Downs, my squad leader. middle - SSG Hannah, 3rd Squad leader, sometimes platoon SGT & my "mentor". Downs use to be a Marine, Hannah is a Ranger.

10 MTN LT INF

left to right - Tony Gilyard, one of my best buddies & Skinner.

10 MTN LT INF

The crew (left to right) me, Axe Man, Kevin, Tony & Floyd.

10 MTN LT INF

Me with my ETS paperwork.

10 MTN LT INF

Gilyard stratocasting. Stratocasting is when you hang on a rope under a bird and it flys you around. This makes sex boring.

10 MTN LT INF

The view out of a Huey.

10 MTN LT INF

Maldonados' grave. He was killed by his wife in a domestic argument. She stabbed him with a kitchen knife. Maldonado told the medics that he did it to himself as they took him to the hospital to protect her. I don't know if that's love or stupidity.

10 MTN LT INF

Rodney Johnson with his ETS papers.

10 MTN LT INF

Me in a Huey.

10 MTN LT INF

A "starship". This was the type of building we lived in. They were called starships because, from the air, they look like some kind of . . . starship. Yup yup.

10 MTN LT INF

More stratocasting.

10 MTN LT INF

Even more stratocasting.

10 MTN LT INF

Some of the members of 3rd Herd, B Company -- the best of the best.

10 MTN LT INF

Looking up at the bird while stratocasting.

obligatory muffin photo

That's a nice table top display.

The 10th Mountain Highway. Someplace in the moutains of Colorado. I just happened to stumble across it. That is my 66 Dodge Coronet in the background. She was a good car, but is dead now. RIP.

obligatory muffin photo

Some hotels leave a mint on your pillow. The really good motels leave a muffin on your bed.
