It's the ever so classic shot, ever so boring, moving water using time exposure.
Yeah. A bridge here in Fort Collins. Exciting huh? =) Not bad shots tho really. The clouds are actually really good in these.
Shots of this really cool metal bridge thingy that goes over the river. It's not a person bridge, it's for some sort of pipe. I have no clue. I do a lot of this stuff, close ups of details, shallow depth of field. Good stuff, or so I hope.
Do not take photos while you are driving a car at 75mph. It is very dangerous. Ok, yea, I did it. But so what? Do you really want to do what I do? I didn't think so. These were taken at 75mph while driving from Greeley CO to Farminghell, I mean Farmington, NM.
These are some shots taken on CSU campus, at dusk. These are long exposure times, 30 to 60 seconds and done on Fuji Velvia film.
These here were taken at the new courthouse here in Fort Collins. It's almost a nice looking building, considering that architecture (did I spell that right? I think not) is dead in this age. There is a nice fountain out back also. Taken on transparency film.
These shots are all from a park over in Loveland. Taken on transparency film.
These here are all from a trip to Denver back in 1998 (I think). This was when I went to see Joan Armatrading in concert. I stayed at a hotel over night and did some sight seeing the next day. The fountain photos were taken at something that looked like a school and a nearby park. I have no idea what it actually was. The bear photos were taken at the zoo.
Some of the fountain photos are overexposed, but I decided I actually liked it. Sort of an artsy thingy, know what I mean. All of these are on transparencies.
I did some serious cropping on the bear photos in order to get out all the extra. I could only get so close with my 300mm lens.
Play time in the fountain at the Greeley Arts Picnic.
I'm in a dark room. With dead people. I think I might be in a college classroom.
You will notice the larger image is cropped different than the thumbnail. Much better than the original I think.
The art of not focusing. Sometimes it's a mistake. Sometimes it's genius.
Pictures of other peoples pictures.
A pile of auto junk outside a service station.
These were all timed exposures, Christmas lights at the Denver Botanical Gardens. Usually around 30 seconds. Some of them involved a flash but most not. Also these are all hand held. Good abstract art.
We got dumped on the winter of 2003. It was expected however because there was very little snow this year prior to this storm, so we "had it coming". CSU actually shut down things were so bad. Lots of trees came down, roads were blocked, things were a mess for days. You can see in some of these photos where the traffic light came down and was replaced by stop signs in the middle of the street.
