Too strong a wind
will only shred the sail.
A gentile breeze
will bring homecoming with ease.

is when most likely to slip.
Too much speed,
one will lose control & trip.
A controlled pace
will take lead in the race.

Don't "push" luck,
it will only last so long.
Just ride the wave.
It will not always be so strong.
When the tide dies,
survey the calm all around,
then look inside.
