Nap By The Sea
Nap by the sea . . .
Nap by the sea . . .
Nap by the sea . . .
Nap by the sea . . .
Materialize the TARDIS down beside the beach,
thinking a vacation's in reach.
Sitting in my deck chair, trying to get some Zs.
It's nice to do just what you please.
Romana's around someplace complaining to K-9.
Nothing can ever be just fine.
"Come on Doctor, let's get out of here."
Then out from under my hat was heard
"I'm trying to take a nap by the sea."
Romana's going on, nothing's ever right,
always got to start up a fight.
Romana throws the beach ball not watching where it goes,
and with K-9 one never knows.
He runs into the water, oh what a big goof.
I never said he was sea proof.
"Come on Doctor, let's get out of here.
Hanging around is so stupid and null.
I tell you we're just wasting our time.
So many years lost,
life does not have to be this dull.
Earth is so banal it's a crime."
"Sit down, sit down.
Sit down, sit down, sit down.
Get up off your butt and do what I tell you."
I'm blocking out her voice, thinking of delights.
All the fun things in my life.
Romana turns a bright day into a night of gloom.
She can never see the light.
She threw K-9 on my lap, water running out.
She better not have ruined my scarf.
"Come on Doctor, let's get out of here.
Hanging around is so stupid and null.
I tell you we're just wasting time.
So many years lost.
Life does not have to be this dull.
Earth is so banal it's a crime."
"Get up, get up.
Get up, get up.
Get up, get up.
You never ever listen to what I tell you.
Why don't you ever do what I tell you?"
"Let's go, let's go, let's go."
That's all she can say,
I can't get away.
She's behind me all day, "let's go."
I wish I could live my lives the way I want to.
I wish I could live my lives the way I want to.
Day Dream By The Sea
People filled with love, lives that know no fear,
and somebody to hold them near.
Planets coexisting, no fear from another race,
peace joining each time and place.
A cosmos of safety, a refuge for the good,
where the value of life is understood.
Is it so far away that I shouldn't dream it?
