We face many dangers in life, but the biggest danger out there is ourselves. At some point in our life we reach the conclusion that everything is about "Me".

What "Me" wants is all that matters. "Me" should be the center of attention. "Me" should get lots of presents (right up there with oxygen, aren't they Nikki?). "Me" should have no rules. "Me" should use "The Other" to achieve the ends "Me" desires. "Me" should have no limits. "Me" can be a Christian, but not follow the Commandments. "Me" can be a spouse, but not remain faithful. "Me" can receive, without the burden of giving. Relationships & friendships are 1% "Me" & 99% "The Other". "Me" is essential. "The Other" is expendable. When "The Other" outlives their usefulness, they are disposed of & replaced. "Me" can lash out with revenge at "The Other", but "The Other" must accept how they are treated by "Me" with no complaints. "Me" takes the credit, but never the blame. "Me" is self. "Me" is spending too much time being someone else. "Me" sees fault only in "The Other".

"Me" is all of us, at some point in our life. "Me" is a bad photographer. "Me" sees the subject, but "Me" only sees the shell, the light bouncing off the surface. "Me" can focus the camera, adjust the aperture and shutter speed, release the shutter, but "Me" can only capture the obvious. "Me" is science, nothing more. "Me" is the photographer isolated from the subject.

"Me" writes silly discourses like this that no one cares about. "Me" takes themselves way too serious. "Me" has no sense of humor. "Me" can only laugh at "The Other".

"Me" is hip, "Me" is fashion, "Me" can only follow the path, "Me" is where it's at. "Me" never shuts up about "Me". "Me" "Me" "Me" "Me" . . . .

One of these day I think you will find yourself as a paper doll.
Life surrounds what's presumed as wise,
but it couldn't be wise until the fist uncurls.
