Technical details. The B&W photos are Kodak TMax 3200 at 3200. All taken with the ambient light in the theatre (which isn't much) at a shutter speed of 1/45 and an apature of 3.5. The photos taken in the lobby are too dark. Many of them were even worse than what you see here so they didn't get put up. That's why you will notice gaps in the number sequence of the file names. The ones backstage came out good however, so now I know for the future. I would have thought the lighting would be better in the lobby, but not so. Also I developed this using Kodak TMax developer. It's the first time I have used that. So I could maybe blame some of it on the chemical. Or maybe not . . .
Photos of the set & lighting. These were taken on Fuji Astia, which was then crossprocessed on accident by the lab. Amazingly they came out pretty close to what things actually looked like.
This is the cover I made for the CD of the music used in the show. The front cover is reduced in size as compared to the others. If they were at relative size then the front cover would be twice as large as you see. When folded and inserted into the jewel case you only see the doorway in the clouds on the front. This is the first CD cover I made where I actually previsualized it. All the others I have made have just be done by sitting down and starting to play with no destination in mind.
